Comprehensive Eye Examinations At Coastal Eye Care, your vision is very important to us. Coastal Eye Care's optical laboratory has the latest equipment that allows us to fabricate your glasses, maintain, and repair them should they become broken or damaged. Coastal Eye Care will gladly fill any current eyeglass or contact lens prescription you may already have.
We are providers with most major insurance companies and HMO's. Our Patient Account representatives will contact your insurance company prior to an examination to review your benefits. We can also directly bill or help you submit your billing to your insurance company. We are here to help. Coastal Eye Care provides surgical co-management services such as: Cataract surgery, Laser surgery, and Lid surgery. Additionally, we have working arrangements established with other specialized eyecare doctors to manage such things as retinal detachments, retinal tears and hemorrhages. We provide these services under a co-management program with affiliated doctors. You, the patient, benefits from the co-operative and combined efforts of doctors working together on your behalf. Coastal Eye Care utilizes state of the art equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases such as diabetes, macular degeneration and glaucoma. Coastal Eye Care prescribes and evaluates all major brands of soft and rigid contact lenses. Additionally, we prescribe custom designed contact lenses for special needs as well as special eye problems. Specialized fittings may include: monovision, bifocal contact lenses, astigmatism contacts, and keratoconus. We also have experience in modifying and polishing contacts. Our staff members are able to answer many of your questions and are available for ongoing contact lens instruction and personal training.
